“ One of the best places we've been to on the island. They have something for everyone unlike quite a few other eateries around. The kids food was well above average I was extremely surprised about the portion sizes but especially the kids plates. Everything was cooked and seasoned great. We had Jennifer h as our server and she was literally the best waitress I think we've ever had. She was extremely accommodating and stayed on top of everything. Interacted with our kids great. 10/10. We did have a hostess that seemed kind of bothered and off putting but it didn't really effect our visit because everything else was so stellar! ”

“ My husband and I got to try out Doc Hollidays in Galveston and it was amazing! We happened to go during happy hour, so that was a plus. I enjoyed the house margaritas, one peach and one prickly pear. They were nice and strong. For our appetizer, we ordered the redneck eggrolls. They were perfection, came out hot and fresh, and their in house bbq sauce was delicious! For entrees, my husband got the cheeseburger, and I ordered the Nashville style hot chicken sandwich. My husband's burgers was huge, and cooked exactly how he wanted it. And my sandwich, big enough for at least 2 meals!! The fries with both were some of the best seasoned fries I've had. Everything came out hot and fresh. We did get a dessert, even though we knew we'd be taking it home. It was the Bailey's bread pudding....it's to die for!! I want to mention our AMAZING server, Sarah!! She was on top of EVERTHING!!! She was friendly, fun to talk to, efficient, and even made suggestions since we had never been. We will be asking for her when we go back, which will hopefully be soon!! ”

“ Great place for dinner. Wait was great and short, plenty of seating and staff, great service, especially from Gill(?), and delicious burgers. Get their Pulled Pork Burger and their fries and it was delicious. The classic cheeseburger was also good with their Caesar salad. Liked the drinks too. Great atmosphere inside as well. Worth stopping by for some dinner at Galveston! ”

“ This was my first time in Texas. As the saying goes Everything is bigger in Texas is so true. We ordered like we were canadians and what we got was enough food for an army. And the price was incredible and so much better than we expected. I couldn't help but buy a shirt and take pictures of everything. Such a great place to bring the family or watch a game. Right across from the water. Definitely going back we were here for a day before our cruise. ”

“ Me and my girlfriend were staying at Crystal Beach for the weekend, but we felt like we’d like to get out and go eat at Galveston, and this is the place we decided to go too. After a frustrating hour and a half wait for the ferry, the food was even better than we could imagine. Not only was the food really good, the service was amazing and the atmosphere was really cool as well. Me and my girlfriend ordered a giant pretzel for the appetizer. My girlfriend got the Docs Hot Nashville Chicken sandwich and I got the tombstone grilled chicken, and they were both amazing. Food portioning was HUGE and that’s a good thing (though the price is driven up.) But overall 10/10 would definitely come here again. ”
